Tampa

After being in the keys we made our way to an RV report in Tampa. We were given two free nights so we took advantage of it. They had a pool and some resort type games that Finn enjoyed immensely and made a new friend named Bryson. The RV resort was a bit run down and dogs were allowed just not in any of the buildings or by the pool. We mention this because it was 90+ degrees out and our RV's battery was not working. The battery kept tripping the shore line so we had no power to run the A/C. Having Franklin made it impossible for all of us to just hang out by the pool. We managed the best we could and made sure that we went places with a breeze. On Monday the 3rd we went to St. Petersburg and had a lovely time hanging out in Vinoy Park. Had good cheese Danishes from a German bakery and just kept cool with the Gulf breeze. Then we headed back to RV park and Finn swam and played more games. He is in love with Foosball! Dan read in the local paper that a special car was coming to town the next day so we knew what we had to do. The next morning we told Finn we had a surprise for him. Packed up and headed to Raymand James Stadium. That's where we all got to meet Lighting McQueen aka "Rusty" in our household. We rounded out our last morning in Tampa with another visit to a Cuban sandwich place for some more amazing food and coffee. Next off Manatee Springs State Park!
