Northern Minnesota

5/22 after sleeping at a rest stop we made our way to Aitkin Minnesota to do some down days at a private campground. We  arrived at Pete's Retreat early and Finn was quick to make a friend. He had a blast playing with the owners son Caiden for two days while we did laundry, cleaned the RV and just regrouped from a couple of busy soggy days. It was a nice place with a playground, fishing pond, sand pits, basketball courts and games. After our stay there we headed up (5/24) towards Walker to disperse camp at the Chippewa National Forrest. We started to do a nice hike with the whole family but discovered midway that we were covered in ticks.  We hurried back to our RV and realized that even the ground by our rig was infested with them. After stripping naked on the Forrest road and pulling off at least 100 bugs we decided to pack up as quick as we could and free dock at a Walmart an hour away. Minnesota- Minneapolis

Current location Polson Montana  5/19- Our thoughts of what to do in Minnesota changed due to bad weather being forecasted. So the first thing we did was the Mall of America. Dan needed to get his phone fixed so we took advantage of the true American experience "the Mall". So we ended up at the famous Mall of America! Finn enjoyed going on some rides since they have an amusement park in the middle of the Mall. We paid a visit to the lego store which we must admit was cool. Time gets sucked away from you when you are in a place like the MoA Before we knew it four hours had passed and Dan's phone was not fixed. They offered him a new one but we needed to back up his old phone first which meant we would need to come back the next day  to finalize everything.  We crashed that night at a Cabelas in St. Paul and then headed to the  Science Museum in St. Paul the next day since it was another cold and rainy again.
