Talkteena, Anchorage & Girdwood
---Current Location Prince George Canada--- 7/3- After leaving Denali we headed back to Fairbanks to get Franklin and our computer. Was able to get Franklin not our computer (was shipped to Kenai). 7/4- after spending a night on a braided river we headed to Talkteena for the Fourth of July. While Finn cleaned up on candy that was tossed out during the parade the town ended being more touristy than we had hoped. Therefore we made our way south towards Anchorage. 7/5- After spending the night in Wasilla we made it to Anchorage. Ate at a famous local establishment called Wishbone (not our cup of tea a bit too greasy) but rounded out the day at the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail which was really nice. 7/6- We made our to Girdwood a sweet little town. Tried our hand at gold panning and enjoyed a local festival (Forrest Fair) on 7/7. Finn had a blast at their skate park on his scooter and we enjoyed the music and masks we made.
