And we off part 2

From Savannah we headed south to Florida. After staying a night at a truck stop (we are legitimate boondockers) went to the Mike Roess Golden Head campground. Enjoyed swimming and meeting very friendly neighbors who invited us to a blue grass event in April. After leaving that campground we did a night of dispersed camping and then stayed a night in the Ocala National Forrest. We got to swim with the alligators in their famous springs and rejuvenated ourselves.

Then it was off to sleep at a vineyard courtesy of Harvest Host (thank you Canadians that we met in Paris for reminding us about Harvest Host). Dan sacrificed himself to do the wine tasting and Finn had a blast feeding their fish!

On Sunday 3/26/17 Ailish went to her first Mets game with Grandma and cousins. Finn's critique of the game was "too hot and too long". During the game Franklin had a play date with another beagle.

After the game we headed off to Dupuis Management Area a beautiful and FREE campground. We stayed the night and then it was off to Boyton Beach. We did some of our running around and boondocked at a Farmers market (thanks again Harvest Host).

Currently off to Marathon in the keys  (listening to Jimmy Buffet as we type this which seems appropriate 😀)

    1. These signs seemed to be everyone we went swimming. It made us feel safe- no alligators were seen while we were swimming.
