We just got back into Canada today. Since cell signal was almost non existent in most of Alaska a bunch of our posts from there will be uploaded soon (now that we may have better connection). Stay tuned!

Missoula & Flatland Lakes

---Current location road to Denali Alaska--- 6/8 We left West Glacier around 2pm and started to make our way down to Missoula. We are heading there to pick up a swing away hitch from the UPS store there. We slept  at a Walmart  in a beautiful area in the flatland lakes.  Then headed out the next am to make our way into Missoula.  Had a great breakfast sandwich from the Biscuit in Arlee. We then made our way to visit the new location of the  SpectrUm museum. Kicked off with a free ice cream cone and then headed into the science museum. Finn's favorite exhibit was a sand pit that had a topographic map projected onto it. Which you could change the landscape by moving your hand through the sand.  After we went to UPS store picked up our hitch (which didn't work 😬) and then headed to a Monster Truck show! Let's just say Finn absolutely loved the show. He was screaming and giggling with delight. His favorite were the motorcycle stunts. Ailish...

Montana

Current location Fairbanks Alaska! 6/1 We arrived in Montana last night and crashed at a rest site. Now it's off to Fort Peck State campground. It's a scorcher of a day and by the time we arrived at the campground we were all a bit over heated and on edge (at least Zoë was). We decided to check out one of the three swimming areas they had to cool off. After taking a suggestion from the interpretive center on where to swim we ended up at a little beach. There were some other folks there just a handful and a dog named Katonah. We spent the afternoon there chatting with our new friends, swimming and eating dinner. Even Franklin had a blast. He played with Katonah and went in the water. For those of you who know Franklin he normally avoids it like the plague. This was revolutionary 😃 .  We then said goodbye to all and headed back to the campground. Current location Fairbanks Alaska 6/4-6/8 & 6/13 Hard to describe the beauty of Glacier. We will just say we came, we hiked, we saw wildlife and we were inspired. We will let the pictures do the rest!
